My hobby is to restore old 10 & 12 speeds; you know...the kind with side-pull caliper brakes. This is THE RACK for an \"old school\" bike. Simply remove the rear reflector bracket on the rear brake assy. (if it\'s still there) and replace with the mounting bracket for the rack. Re-use the reflector on the rear of the rack. Mount the rack on the bike, line everything up and when it looks level, tighten everything down. It takes maybe 15 minutes. It looks great, it\'s functional & every bike I install one on sells FAST!
